The Swim Meet Assistant Manager supports the Swim Meet Manager in all aspects of meet preparation and execution. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in aquatics event coordination in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and tear down of swim meet equipment (timing systems, computers, touchpads, etc.).
• Operate timing and meet management systems under direction (e.g., Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Colorado Timing System, scoreboard, etc.).
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting the CTS.
• Perform preventative and restorative maintenance under direction from the Swim Meet Manager.
• Monitor pool deck safety and cleanliness during events.

Qualifications

• Experience in competitive swimming or meet operations is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with Hy-Tek software and Colorado Timing Systems (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and long event days as required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.

• Indoor pool facility with a loud, humid atmosphere.
• Busy, active environment during swim meets with frequent interaction with guests and staff.
• Must be able to adapt to changing conditions and time-sensitive tasks.
• Work shifts primarily during weekends, evenings, and meet days.
