As a Recruiter, your time is spent partnering with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to understand their business goals and staffing needs and then sourcing candidates to align them with open client positions making a genuine impact on both job seekers and employers.
Responsibilities:
- Outreach to candidates via phone, email, social media, in person, etc.
- Re-engage former employees and candidates for future openings
- Attend community events, such as job fairs, to ensure that potential candidates reach out to you when they are seeking a new job
- Interview candidates – either in person or over the phone
- Strive to achieve job orders, matching quality candidates with companies
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, candidates, and employees
- Partner with employers, including site-visits, to make sure the team understands the best candidate profile for their company
- Schedule drug screens and background checks, as needed
- Support the office with answering phones, assisting potential candidates that walk in, and work as a team to achieve company goals
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or bachelor’s degree desired
- 2+ years of full cycle experience in the recruiting field (corporate, staffing or agency), sourcing passive talent in a variety of different career fields
- Work well alone and driven to accomplish objectives with little to no supervision
- Results oriented, respond to deadlines in a timely and professional manner, able to multi-task
- Exposure to manufacturing and/or community connections is a plus
- Strong customer service skills: you go out of your way for people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – in person, over the phone and in all written forms
- Strong attention to detail
- Business professional attitude: you can interact professionally with clients
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft products: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proactive thinker, problem solver focused on continual improvement, and clear communication with coworkers and leadership
