Job Description
Job Title: Telecome Engineer CR264
Location: Vacaville CA Primary location is Vacaville and Remote with some travel to other State Fund Locations.
Duration: Long Term
Role: Leading and assisting with the administration and provisioning of telecom services including AVAYA Telephony MSTeams Telephony FIVE9 contact center and other VoIP voice services contact center operations IVR call routing faxing UCaaS CCaaS & security compliance.
Responsibilities: Migration and administration of current Telephony Solution; leading or assisting in the implementation of any Telecom migrations; developing and executing unit tests for product components; establishing architectural standards and best practices.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Five 9 support Avaya & MSTeams Telephony administration migration; networking; telecom operations administration and support; knowledge of Windows; report writing; server patching (Window and Linux).
Specific Experience: 8 years of Telecom experience; 3 years of technical lead and CCaas experience; 3 years of technical lead and UCaas experience; 2 years of experience with administering contact center services.
Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Desired Certifications: Five 9 Avaya MSTeams certifications
Additional Skills: Strong communication and writing skills; project management experience.
Plus: Prior experience in the insurance industry.
Deliverables or Tasks: Migration of Avaya Telephony to MSTeams Telephony solution; supporting remote telecom services to a remote work force; Contact Center operations and administration; IVR call flows and call routing; Networking; work with other Telecom engineers; architecture of Telecom services; recommending technologies; writing technical design & architecture documents; providing work estimates; crosstraining Telecom staff; improving project profitability.
