Level IV Telecommunications Installer
Location: Chicago, IL

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level IV Installer out of Chicago, IL to lead and execute complex Telecom and DC power installation projects with a leader in the industry. This role requires advanced technical expertise in power systems, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and project management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with AT&T equipment, DC power, and site supervision.

What you'll do:

• Assume Site Supervisor responsibilities and take charge of small to medium-sized service projects, ensuring on-time completion and top-notch installation quality.
• Install, remove, and troubleshoot DC power systems, batteries, and associated equipment.
• Apply your experience and judgment to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver timely solutions for our valued customers.
• Support the installation and commissioning of wireless infrastructure, data center, and central offices.
• Manage weekly tool inventory, create clear and concise Method of Procedure (MOP) and Job Information Memorandum (JIM) documents.
• Test and turn up of power system equipment.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience installing & maintaining Telecom DC power equipment.
• 3+ years of experience in cable pulling, sewing, racking, and bay mounting.
• Experience installing AT&T equipment; certifications highly preferred (ATT MOP, AYS, SA).
• Test and turn-up experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is essential.
