**Job Title: Cath Lab Tech / XRT with RCIS - Day Shift**

**Shifts Available:** 4x10-Hour (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
**Contract Length:** 13 weeks, start date ASAP or by 08/25/2025

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Technician or X-Ray Technologist (XRT) with an RCIS certification to join our high-volume cardiac interventional team. This is a day shift position (4x10 hours) that requires on-call availability. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting, with competence in interventional scrubbing.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in a variety of cardiac procedures, including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural interventions (PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman).
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Handle advanced imaging equipment such as GE Innova IGS and Phillips, as well as wide-ranging documentation through EPIC.
- Maintain inventory and equipment set-up, alongside adherence to isolation precautions.
- Provide excellent patient care by monitoring vitals and providing necessary interventional support.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient interaction and care.

**Unit Details:**
- **Patient Population:** Adults and Geriatrics
- **Number of Cath Labs:** 2, including a Hybrid OR.
- **Patient Ratio:** Varies per unit requirements, but expected to handle multiple procedures daily.

**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab/Interventional scrubbing; first-time travelers welcomed.
- **Certifications:** Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R and/or RCIS certifications are required.
- **Skills:** Proficiency in cardiac catheterization, device placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and use of PACS; capacity to perform EKG lead placements, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertions.

**Schedule:**
- On-call is required (up to 10 weekdays and 3 weekends during the contract).
- Flexibility is essential, as holiday coverage may also be required.
