ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:2 patient ratio maintained at all times
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 2 years of cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Must float within service line when needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
• Time off restricted to maximum 2 requests totaling no more than 40 hours during contract
• Care for patients with acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, post cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, and cardiac arrhythmias
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, Impellas, balloon pumps, and LVADs
• Administer vasoactive drips and monitor central lines and dialysis
• Provide post-cardiac surgery care and pre/post cardiac catheterization care
• Contract duration: 16 weeks preferred, 13 weeks minimum accepted

This major academic medical center is a Magnet-designated and Level I Trauma facility with 1,266 staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care services with advanced cardiac technologies and procedures. The 20-bed CVICU maintains a daily census of 14 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and maintains high standards for cardiac care excellence.
