Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in a small community hospital, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 6-bed ICU within a community hospital setting
• Usual staffing for 4 beds with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Patient population includes respiratory failure, rapid Afib on drips, sepsis, pneumonia, withdrawal with titrated drips, and CHF
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Cerner CIS is used for charting and documentation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Lower acuity ICU with transfers for higher acuity patients to a Level 1 trauma center
• Supportive team environment in a close-knit community hospital
• Must be able to provide application materials, skills checklist, license verification, NURSYS verification, two references, and copies of all active certifications for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Five or more years of ICU experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner CIS preferred
