Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Hollister, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, following nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry (EKG) readings, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Conduct patient assessments, record vital signs, and evaluate changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Recognize and respond promptly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, code situations, or rapid deterioration.
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies.
• Support patient recovery and transition of care through discharge planning.

Required:

- CA RN License

- BLS

- ACLS

- PALS

- NIHSS

- 2 years of experience
