Key Responsibilities of the OB/GYN Sonographer
As an OB/GYN Sonographer, your duties will include:

Performing Ultrasound Examinations: Conduct obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures, including prenatal scans, pelvic ultrasounds, and fetal monitoring.
Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and cooperation throughout the procedure.
Image Capture: Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including monitoring fetal development and identifying gynecological conditions.
Collaboration: Work closely with OB/GYN physicians and other medical professionals to assess patient conditions and share diagnostic information.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and imaging findings.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety (when applicable).
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest ultrasound technologies and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
Applicant Requirements for the OB/GYN Sonographer Role
To qualify, applicants must have:

BLS Certification (required).
ARDMS Certification in OB/GYN (required).
2+ years of experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer in a clinical setting.
