Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring a permanent OH or compact state license and strong recent dialysis experience.

Job Details

• Work in an acute hospital dialysis unit,
• Day shifts with 3x12 hour schedule (shifts typically 7:00am-7:30pm, 8:30am-9:00pm),
• Includes on-call rotation and every other weekend requirement,

Job Requirements

• Active permanent OH RN license or compact state RN license in hand,
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current,
• Minimum of 18 months permanent, recent dialysis nursing experience prior to travel,
• At least two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in dialysis within the last 12 months,
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start,
• No open background check cases or license hits allowed,
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation,

Additional Information

• Perform all aspects of acute dialysis nursing care and support in a hospital setting,
• Assignment extensions up to 18 consecutive months permitted, with a required 6-month break before returning,
• Permanent and per diem staff must wait 1 year before returning to work at any Ohio location of this health system,
• Orientation includes required competency assessments, with maximum two attempts allowed,
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free policy requirements,
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing,
• Modules for orientation and annually are required and completed via Silkroad,
