\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nRN - Med Surg Tele
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on a 36-bed trauma/ortho/med-surg unit located on the 7A floor
\n• Maintain a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
\n• Work with advanced equipment including IV pumps, Wound Vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo pumps, chest tubes, telemetry, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, and epidurals
\n• Perform typical procedures such as wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and indwelling Foley catheter insertions
\n• Work every other weekend as required
\n• On-call when census is low
\n• Float to units 6A, 3A, 3South, and 4South as needed
\n• Med-surg experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
\n• Must demonstrate strong team player attitude and critical thinking skills
\n• Prioritization and time management skills preferred
\n• Required certifications: Active nursing license, ACLS, and BLS
\n• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs required, no sweatshirts or crocs allowed
\n• Must be willing to work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team
