• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.70 per Mile with 1800 or more Miles Per Week
\n \n
• Stop Pay: $25.00 per stop with 20 - 25 stops per week
\n \n
• Mileage Pay and Stop Pay increase every 3 Months; Tops out at 18 Months
\n \n
• Per Diem: $40.00 per night with 4 - 5 nights out per week
\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
\n \n
• Dispatch Time: Early AM
\n \n\n

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

\n
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
