Join to apply for the Utility Locator role at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. 3 days ago - Be among the first 25 applicants Pay Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr Salary based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Job Location Atlanta, GA Job Title Utility Locator Duties / Responsibilities Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities (electrical power, cable TV, gas, water, telecommunications) Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate Basic comprehension and interpretation of planimetric and design plans, profiles, cross sections, utility records, etc. Collect data and complete field sketches for field books Assist on projects requested by department Education / Experience High School Diploma / GED 1–3 years of utility locating or designating using various pipe and cable locating devices Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) preferred Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience required Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable Physical Requirements Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments Ability to carry required instruments and equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Subject to variable climate and environmental conditions, including extreme cold and heat Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development and career advancement opportunities A supportive and collaborative work environment Equal Opportunity Employer (U.S.).
