We are excited to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our team and are searching for a DVM who's ready to help
elevate our services .
Scottsdale has a reputation as a travel destination, but it's also a city full of people who LOVE sports, outdoor adventure, great food, and (most importantly) their pets. Being
one of the most dog-friendly cities in the US , it's no wonder we're in need of another DVM!
Our ideal candidate will have
1-3 years of experience , a positive attitude, great communication skills, and excellent medical and surgical skills. Our focus is on the client experience, ensuring we meet their needs and expectations. Veterinarians who have great bedside manners and will enjoy getting to know our clients on a more personal level would be excellent additions to the team. This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling; however,
Wednesday and Saturday (halfday) coverage are a must .
How you'll make an impact: - Partner with clients: Dr. Aric Remen has built solid relationships with our community and is appreciated for his high touch approach . As our second full-time doctor, you'll ensure our clients continue to feel heard, understand the why behind procedures, and know their pets are treated like family at our clinic.
- Bond with the Desert Tails team: We have a welcoming and inclusive team that genuinely enjoys working together. We'll do everything in our power to help you feel at home from your very first day. In addition to Dr. Remen, we have a part-time DVM, Dr. McKnight, who is skilled in internal medicine and medical case management and is with us on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Practice excellent medicine: Our hospital is a full-service, paper-lite practice equipped with digital radiology, cold laser therapy, endoscope, ultrasound, and more. You'll utilize our tools to provide excellent services to small animals .
