CIE USA-Century Plastics, a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a Warehouse-IT Intern to join our Materials team.

Length of Internship: 8-12 weeks (Summer Internship)

Reports to: ERP System Key User and Warehouse Manager

Primary Purpose:

Engineering, IT, logistics or business students looking to learn more about the automotive industry will have the opportunity to participate in a rewarding and interactive internship in IT, Logistics and Operations.

The intern will provide support and assistance to the warehouse management team for the upcoming SAP launch. This will be an opportunity for the intern to learn how material and products flow within the company and learn how to integrate a new MES operating system. It will encompass the integration of the current scan to location process into the new MES system.

Essential Functions:

• Making scannable barcodes.
• Printing labels.
• Hanging barcode labels on the racks, and in the floor locations.
• Interacting with Warehouse Management team.
• Interacting with plant personnel.
• Operation of a forklift (With training).
• Updating timelines and spreadsheets.
• Assisting in the integration and testing of the new MES system.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word
• Good communication and writing skills
• Trouble shooting experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Business, IT, logistics or engineering students preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move around the shop floor and stand for extended periods of time
• Standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, twisting

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
