Job Description

Working Team Lead | Second Shift | Hebron, KY

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires effective communication and the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve production targets while adhering to company policies and procedures. We are looking for a working supervisor, so you will be doing the job as well as managing a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring they are adequately trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with management to develop production schedules and allocate resources to meet production targets efficiently.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and take corrective actions as necessary to address deviations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality inspection records, and inventory logs. Prepare and present reports to management on production performance and areas for improvement.
  • Address production issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support production schedules.

Requirements :

  • High School Graduate
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Computer Basics
  • Great attitude and Attendance
  • Must work well in a Team Atmosphere
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 25+ lbs on a daily basis
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment
  • Must be able to wear ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoes
  • Open to background and drug screening

Schedule :

Second Shift, Monday-Thursday (4x 10hr shifts) 3pm-1:30am

Pay:

Up to $50,000/year based on experience
