Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
A bit about us:
We're looking for an Associate Attorney to help support our department by researching legal issues and drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions and pleadings, conducting depositions, attending mediation, preparing cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, possess excellent writing skills and be creative enough to find solutions to new problems and be experienced in NYS Labor Law ( Construction) MVA, trip/slip and fall, premise and construction matters to handle cases from inception through trial.

Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with NYS Labor Law (Construction) being ideal.
3. Admission to the State Bar of New York.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
5. Demonstrated ability to represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
6. Exceptional research skills and the ability to provide accurate and timely legal advice.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
9. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
11. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
