Job Description
Driver
The Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for clients and H.O.G.A.R. staff and performs general driving duties as needed. The Van Driver will also be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the building to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for all staff, residents, and visitors.
Responsibilities
· Must be able to operate a passenger van safely.
· Responsible for proper vehicle maintenance and care when operating a H.O.G.A.R. vehicle.
· Responsible for immediately reporting all issues, infractions, and accidents that involve a H.O.G.A.R.'s vehicle to the supervisor.
· Maintain all office and common areas to the H.O.G.A.R.'s standards.
· Will assist clients with moving into and out of H.O.G.A.R. sites.
· Perform other related duties.
Essential Functions
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
· Must be able to ascend/descend up to 8 flights of stairs.
· Must be able to work with hazardous substances with proper protective equipment.
· Must maintain a valid driver's license while working as a H.O.G.A.R. Porter/Van Driver.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Ability to interact effectively with the client population.
· Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
· Ability to effectively communicate and accept supervision.
· Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus. Required time on the Project:

· 35 hours weekly
· On call 24/07
