Graphic Design Intern

Precept Wine & Spirits | Seattle, WA

Precept Wine & Spirits is an innovative leader in the wine and alcoholic beverage category, with a unique portfolio of brands, vineyards and estates, and passionate employees.

The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for the creative development of a wide array of marketing tools and dynamic packaging for our portfolio of wine and spirits brands. Interns have the opportunity to develop new wine brands from initial concepts through production, and will work closely with Precept's design, marketing and sales teams to understand and establish brand strategy and direction. 150-hour commitment in Precept Wine’s Seattle office (10–15 weeks, 10–15 hours per week).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work collaboratively with the creative and marketing teams to develop creative marketing material for Precept's brand portfolio including but not limited to: posters, brochures, point of sale collateral, email and digital marketing campaigns, and sales tools.
• Design new and innovative packaging for both original concepts and brand extensions.
• Present and discuss your work with internal stakeholders.
• Own and successfully deliver large, long-term, integrated design projects, while balancing multiple short-term projects at once.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• In-progress Bachelor’s or Associate degree with a focus in design or a related field (e.g. graphic, visual communications), or equivalent practical experience.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating process and understanding of design composition, typography, and color theory.
• 21+ years of age preferred.
