Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $35.00 - $40.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to join our team in Waukesha, WI. This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks to support the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems including 3-phase power, motors, panels, lighting and controls
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on welders, CNC machines, presses and other heavy equipment
- Assist in the installation, relocation and set-up of new equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize equipment downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and equipment manuals
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Support facility projects such as lighting upgrades, conduit runs and power drops
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred
- At least three years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 480V, 3-phase power
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, relays, and troubleshooting electrical controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals
- Experience with welding equipment and heavy manufacturing machinery a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying conditions including standing, climbing or kneeling
