Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center is a premier and technology-forward aesthetic practice established over 18 years ago in the heart of Boca Raton, Florida. Our board-certified plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and nurse practitioners deliver exceptional care to patients while offering valuable teaching opportunities for our team. Our practice has experienced immense growth over the last several years and is now entering the Ft. We seek a FULL TIME Medical Assistant who wants to work for excellent compensation and benefits in an established, fast-growing general/aesthetic dermatology practice in Boca Raton. 

Travel to our Fort Lauderdale location may be required.

Required Background

• 2+ years of MA experience in dermatology REQUIRED!
• Experience maintaining and updating patient’s medical records is required.
• Experience following up with patients/clients regarding treatments, test results, prescription fulfillment and insurance is required.
• Experience with cosmetic dermatology treatments is not required but is preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of common dermatology terms, conditions and treatments.
• Understanding of HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
• Clear, concise communication skills.
• Ability to listen to and gain the confidence of patients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills.
• Team player with high energy.
• Strong sense of professionalism, courtesy, and respect for customers and team members.
• Knowledge of Nextech (EMR) a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments in an organized fashion.
• Standard working hours are 830am-5pm Monday through Friday and 1-2 Saturday clinics per month from 9am-2pm. There are some fluctuations in the schedule.
• Fluent in English, with excellent writing and grammatical skills.
