IMMEDIATE NEED for Private Duty Pediatric Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses in the Louisville KY area for Day & Nights Shifts. Full and Part time shifts for Day & Over Night Available for RNs & LPNs. Hourly Pay RN: $32-$38 and LPN $25-32.

BrightStar Care Louisville is hiring Registered Nurses RN (or Licensed Practical Nurses LPN) to work ONE on ONE Private Duty with patients anywhere from the ages of infants, adolescents, young adults to seniors on a flexible schedule with the recognition and benefits you need. Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Kentucky
• Pediatric Experience preferred
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required with bedside care preferred 
• Experience with g-tubes, trachs/vent and cath care preferred
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
• Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keeps the Nurse Manager and any other appropriate personnel informed
• Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills needed

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Salary : $25.00 - $38.00 per hour (Licensed Practical Nurse $25-32) & (Registered Nurse $32-38). Note: compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location. 

Standard shift:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift (3rd shift)

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• CPR
• RN (Required)
• LPN (Required)

Work Location: In person in home setting
