Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time school counselor position is available for a contract role in Katy, Texas, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This school-based opportunity requires a dedicated professional to provide essential counseling services that foster student growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student needs
• Implement interventions and referral processes for students requiring additional assistance
• Promote a positive school climate and help develop programs that enhance student well-being
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and school policies

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Counseling
• State of Texas counseling licensure is mandatory
• Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
• Availability to start this fall semester
