Job Description

We are looking for Tax Accounting Professionals to join our growing CPA firm. You will be responsible for compliance and client service for high net worth individual clients and small businesses

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare tax returns for business and personal clients
2. Review tax returns prepared by seasonal tax staff
3. Research fundamental tax issues
4. Interview new tax clients; onboarding and servicing
5. Participate in individual client tax planning activities
6. Provide resolution for client deficiency notices from tax authorities
7. Tax return delivery, billing, and e-filing
8. Business development and firm revenue growth

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years recent experience in business and personal tax preparation.
2. Prior CPA firm experience required
3. Active CPA license and PTIN required.
4. Experience with current tax software programs and reporting tools
5. Knowledge of taxes relating to payroll, property tax, and sales tax
6. Strong, positive client relations skills and relationship building
7. Detail and deadline-oriented. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
8. Incentives available for business development. Existing book of business a plus.
9. Desire for possible upward advancement to partner level.
